Beginning in 1988, we have sent out short-term missionaries, starting with the Dominican Republic and Kentucky. In 1992 a major commitment was made to assist a church plant in Almet, Tatarstan, Russia.  In a 10-year period we have sent 8 teams (with participants ages ranging from 16 to 75 yrs old) from our church to minister to this fledgling church.  Today in Almet the church is a beacon of light in a dark land proclaiming the saving grace and life-giving force of Jesus Christ.In 2002 we sent 16 youth and adults to Peru to work with the national Evangelical Free Church in Lima, Peru. Since 2005, we have sent teams to advance the kingdom of God in 6 countries as well as Hurricane relief here in the US.  Since 2011, we have had a mission done locally as well as trips to India and Dominican Republic. Throughout the years many from our church have been called into full-time career missionary work. We currently support fifteen missionaries and agencies around the world.
